艦船模型スペシャル新刊

昨日、出勤の前に秋葉原へ行って来たんですが、モデルアート増刊の艦船模型スペシャルの新刊「金剛型」が出ていたのですかさずゲット。大戦中の日本戦艦の中では一番古く、一番かっこよく、一番戦歴があるにもかかわらず、キットに恵まれないタイプなのですが、今回の艦スペはなかなか読みでがある好編集だと思いました。各艦の個別の違いを模型製作の観点から解説してくれていますし、最高だったのは船体ハセガワ、上構ニチモ３０センチという意表を突いた作例。使えるとは聞いていましたが、実際あそこまで違和感無い組み上がりは製作者の腕もありましょうが、驚くばかり。製作意欲を湧かせてくれる本でした。しばらくはこれで楽しめそうです。

っていうか、リニューアルにも関わらずハセガワの金剛級があまりにも不甲斐無い出来で憤慨しただけだったんだけど。

　割と最近、榛名を組んだ事があるんですが（職場でとはとても言えない('A`））艦橋の形状が良く、でもサイズは当然違うよなぁと思っていたらまさか同じだったとは（爆）もし、３０センチで遊びたいと思ったら夏のフネカンにどうぞ。船の科学館で一日遊び倒せます（笑）

　提督はロイヤルネービー派かと思いましたが（笑）去年の静岡には乱入したいと思いましたが果たせませんでした（オイ）小生的には長門級、大和級はそれまでの日本戦艦と違いすぎてどうも違和感が拭えないんですねぇ。伊勢級の様なシルエットで４０センチ戦艦作ったらもっとかっこ良かったと思うんですが(^_^;)

ニチモの榛名は艦橋の組み上げが実艦と同じ分割なので、ハセの船体に作例のような航空作業甲板をはじめとする上部構造物を移植し、高角砲はニチモ、機銃や細かな艤装パーツはピット、これにファインのエッチングとか真鍮引き物砲身、副砲は某製作所の極細パイプなどを使用すると至高の逸品が。当然フルハルにして作るのですが、金剛、霧島、比叡とするにはさらに相当な体力が必要。
やっぱりフジミは重巡シリーズなどで遊んでいないで完璧な金剛型を出すべきですわな。

以前に別のところでも書いたのですが、この「艦船模型スペシャル」シリーズ、掲載されている作品の質が低過ぎですよね。
とても今時の艦船模型製作の指針となるような出来とは言えない。　ＭＧの大木氏並みとまでは言わぬものの、せめて20年前のＷＬコンテスト上位クラスのところは目指して欲しい。

なにかディテールアップのためのディテールアップみたいなのばっかりで、最終的な仕上がりが薄汚いものが目立ちます。
河野氏以外のライターすべて取り替えて欲しいな。

　おいでいただきありがとうございます。毎度お会いする度にこの話になっちゃいますが、ハセガワにケンカ売るにしても問題の少ない妙高型でケンカ売るよりも金剛型でやるべきでしたよね。元々リニューアルになる訳ですし、周りの評価もかなり上がったはずなのに。模型業界ってマーケットリサーチってやらないんでしょうかねぇ？

　本田さんの言うレベルに持って行こうとするなら、多分この発行ペースは無理です。年１か、２年に１冊レベルでないと。河野氏も1/700になると途端にアラが見える作り方してますよ。帆船模型の事をキング・オブ・ホビーと言う事がありますが、艦船模型もいろんな意味でそれに近い所があると思ってます。今回のライターでは佐藤氏の作風が好きですね。

調子ノリついでにＴＢさせていただきました。
『艦スペ金剛型』の作例はともかく、資料性では過去1番ではないかと思ってます。
キットがハセ○ワでは×××な作例も仕方ありますまい(笑)
いずれウチのブログで取り上げたいのですがね（いつになるかなー？）

ユダ様、当ブログにお出でいただきありがとうございます。つたない駄文ですが、反応をいただき感謝です。今回の艦スペは「出来がイマイチの金剛級を如何にしてサマになる様直すか？」を主題にしている「今までの艦スペとは違う」編集をしていると思いますね。それ故、作る人には資料性が高い本であろうと私も思います。　ウチでは金剛よりも先にビスマルクを俎上に上げなければいけないので、そちらでの取り上げを期待させていただきます（笑）
